CommonsFC: the First Step into DePIN for Community Sports

Community sports live on passion and participation, but often lack stable financial resources. CommonsFC was created to provide concrete tools to clubs with participatory governance and supporters’ associations, with the aim of making grassroots sport stronger, more autonomous, and more sustainable.

What is DePIN

DePIN stands for Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network: a global network in which thousands of physical nodes (antennas, sensors, energy systems, computing devices) are shared and automatically rewarded through blockchain.

In practice: a physical node is installed (for us a Wingbits antenna), the node joins a distributed network, the data it generates has value for companies and developers, and the network distributes rewards to those who host and support the nodes.

Our First Node: the Wingbits Antenna

The Wingbits antenna has arrived and will be installed in the coming days. It will be our first active DePIN node, connected to a worldwide air traffic monitoring network. It is a simple but symbolic step: even a grassroots club like Cava United can contribute to a global technological infrastructure, generating both economic and social value.

Safety and Sustainability

The devices CommonsFC intends to integrate into its DePIN network are carefully chosen not only for their technological usefulness but also for their respect for people and the environment.

Antennas like Wingbits operate at very low power, do not emit harmful radiation, and pose no health risks. At the same time, they have minimal environmental impact: low energy consumption, compact size, and easy integration into urban or sports facilities.
