Since 2014, in Cava de’ Tirreni, we have been proving that football can be different. Cava United Football Club is a grassroots, community-owned, and inclusive project, built day by day by supporters and the local community.
No owners, no outsiders making decisions for us. Every choice is made together, in open assemblies, following the principle “one person, one vote”, which guarantees real democracy and active participation. Because football belongs to the people, not to private interests.

“Fields on the Edge” is not just a documentary: it’s the real-life story of those who choose a different way of living football every day. A journey through suburban fields, neighborhoods, and assemblies where, from the ground up, an alternative model of sport takes shape, built on participation, inclusion, and community pride.
Through the story of Cava United and the voices of those who are part of it, the docufilm delivers a simple yet powerful message: a different kind of football is possible, when it starts with the people, the local communities, and a sense of belonging.

The CFC Token is the digital tool that rewards active participation in the Cava United Pilot Project and in the CommonsFC network. It is not a speculative token, but a transparent way to recognize the commitment of members, supporters, players, and partners who believe in a new model of grassroots football, based on participation and responsibility.
Cava United is the first Club where the token is being tested on the ground: every action that benefits the community, the Club, or the territory is rewarded in a simple, transparent, and secure way. A concrete system to strengthen the sense of belonging and to give visibility to everyone’s contribution.
