CommonsFC is the civic digital infrastructure for communities that create impact

Born from grassroots sport, CommonsFC helps parishes, associations, schools and local projects recognise, validate and tell the story of real community actions.

What CommonsFC does

CommonsFC turns verified community actions into badges, reports and operational decisions. It makes visible the value that territories, associations, schools, parishes and communities already generate every day.

WorkspaceAn operational space for every project or community.
Verified actionsReal activities recorded and validated by accountable people.
BadgeQualitative recognition linked to clear criteria.
ReportReadable aggregate data to understand what works.
DecisionsOperational choices connected to reports.

The first real case: Alla Viva il Parroco

The first real case of the CommonsFC method is Alla Viva il Parroco: an application for local parishes to record community actions, validate them and produce useful reports without turning participation into a points race.

  • no public individual ranking of minors;
  • community challenges, not individual competition;
  • fair play, inclusion, workshops, volunteering and care for shared spaces;
  • reports after 30 days;
  • operational decisions connected to the report.

First real caseAlla Viva il Parroco starts from community, educators, territory and concrete actions: the tournament is the context, the method is what CommonsFC makes readable.

The guiding question

Can an educator record an ImpactAction in less than two minutes after a day of activities, without feeling it as bureaucracy?

A community does not grow because it accumulates points. It grows when it recognises what works and decides how to improve.

Born from grassroots sport

CommonsFC comes from the experience of grassroots sport and from the history of Cava United: a laboratory of participation, self-governance, territorial identity and community responsibility.

Sport is the root, not the limit.

From Cava United to civic Workspaces

The starting question remains concrete: how do we recognise the value produced by a community when it participates, organises, educates, supports and builds relationships?

The CommonsFC Network

CommonsFC grows with the communities that use it

CommonsFC is not a closed platform. It is a network of communities, grassroots clubs, parishes, associations, schools and local projects that can use the same method to make actions, impact, governance and virtuous behaviours visible.

Cava United

Cava United is the first organisation connected to CommonsFC: the sporting and community root from which the method began to take shape.

The next communities

The network can include associations, parishes, schools, grassroots clubs and local communities that want to recognise and report their own impact.

Governance and recognition

Each group keeps its own identity. CommonsFC connects verified actions, badges, reports, decisions and, over time, recognition systems for virtuous behaviours.

Who it is useful for

CommonsFC is designed for small and medium-sized contexts that need to tell their impact without turning educational and community work into bureaucracy.

Parishes

To follow educational activities, community challenges, participation and project reports.

Associations

To make the value of volunteering and community paths visible.

Schools

To document educational projects, workshops, participation and impact.

Grassroots sports clubs

To connect sport, participation, governance and territory.

Funded projects

To collect evidence and support reporting towards partners, foundations and institutions.

Local communities

To build shared memory and operational decisions based on real actions.

Future vision, without confusing the starting point

CommonsFC starts from real actions, validation, badges, reports and decisions. But the vision does not stop there: governance of each Workspace, governance of the network, rewards, incentives, CFC, DePIN and civic value chains remain important parts of the trajectory.

The sequence must remain clear: first shared rules and verified behaviours; then rewards, incentives and more advanced technological layers. Recognition must strengthen the community, not turn participation into a ranking.
